CAN YOU IDENTIFY THE SIGNS OF CHILDHOOD ABUSE AND NEGLECT?

If not, we can help…

Act for Kids Academy consists of a series of modules delivered in the most convenient way for our participants; online, face to face, or via blended learning. The first online course is ‘Protecting Children and Young Adults’. It comprises training on how to create child-safe organisations, with activities to test knowledge including the prevalence of child harm in Australia, and how to identify if a child is disclosing and what to do next. By partaking in this training, your team members or colleagues will become a part of a growing community who prioritise child safety, creating safer communities and a place for young people to thrive.

Face to Face

Act for Kids Academy delivers effective training programs to groups within a number of industries, including corporate, retail, community groups, education, health and public service.

While online training is convenient and effective, face to face training is an opportunity to gather a great representation of your workforce or organisation to learn about creating a safe space for children and young people.

Blended Learning

Act for Kids Academy has been developed to be accessible to suit the needs of a range of participants, businesses and organisations. That’s why we offer blended learning which combines both online training and onsite courses.

Face to face training is also an opportunity to ‘train the trainers’ who will be responsible for rallying other employees or members of your organisation to partake in the online training while being equipped with the knowledge to answer any questions from colleagues.
