Act for Kids is a for-purpose organisation that delivers evidence-based professional therapy and support services to children and families, who have experienced or are at risk of harm. We have helped thousands of children and families for over 30 years.
In 2019-2020 Act for Kids supported almost 45,0002 people across its 28 therapy centres and through the ‘Learn to be Safe with Emmy and Friends’ schools-based protective behaviours program:
- Act for Kids worked with 29,135 kids
- Act for Kids has provided integrated therapy for 3,617 kids
- Across all services, Act for Kids has helped 44,894 families and kids
- Act for Kids has provided intense family support for 31,922 people
